Grow in Restraint
Grow in Restraint
Waiting for the clouds to cry,
Like a bird lost in the sea;
Flying to see any place dry,
Like a flower amidst dry land;
In patience, you must chant,
With gratitude, you must try.

Like a soldier captured in the war,
Counting on aid of a repentant spy;
Like a ship stranded on the shore,
Waiting for the tide to rise high;
In restraint, you must grow,
With diligence, you must standby.
