Dream Catcher
Dream Catcher
Last night, I had a dream
of you, beside me in peace;
Unlike other nights, wide awake;
For this night light, anything I’d trade.

Last night, it was no illusion
of my usual nightly delusion;
Unlike a fantasy, it was so real;
To have it permanently, I’d make any deal.

Last night is no coincidence;
a beautiful night of significance,
Unlike a moonshine, it is tangible;
To keep day and night, I can be adaptable.
